Julie Tigner

Julie is an LGBTQIA+ affirming clinician dedicated to creating a safe, warm, and authentic therapy space for children and teens. She specializes in non-directive Child Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) with children ages 3–13, and uses a client-centered, integrative approach with teens, drawing from person-centered theory and Jungian perspectives.

Her training includes EMDR, Brainspotting, Child Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT), and a yearlong intensive in CCPT. She also holds certification in ADHD Assessment & Treatment and is pursuing advanced training in suicide prevention (CAMS), national board certification, and Registered Play Therapist credentials. Julie continues to expand her expertise in play therapy, client-centered work, Jungian play therapy, and culturally responsive therapeutic practices.
