Kaitlyn Shelp

Kaitlyn Shelp, MA, LMHC, is Clinical Supervisor at It Begins Within and specializes in trauma healing and infidelity recovery. She uses Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Systematic Affair Recovery Therapy (SART), and the Gottman Method.

She has worked with clients aged 11 and older in family, group, and individual settings across inpatient, residential, and outpatient levels of care.

Kaitlyn is one of only two therapists in the state of Florida trained in Systematic Affair Recovery Therapy and focuses her practice on couples and individuals seeking healing from infidelity. Her trauma-informed, strength-based, and directive approach integrates Gottman Method techniques after crisis stabilization to support clients in processing pain and pursuing lasting change.
