Kaitlyn Shelp

Kaitlyn Shelp is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Clinical Supervisor at It Begins Within, who works with trauma healing and infidelity recovery. She helps people and couples navigate pain and vulnerability, offering a safe space for healing.

Shelp holds a master's degree in Counselor Education from the University of Central Florida, specializing in Clinical Mental Health. She is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Systematic Affair Recovery Therapy, and the Gottman Method. Notably, she is one of only two therapists in Florida trained in Systematic Affair Recovery Therapy, enhancing her ability to support couples.

Clients can expect a trauma-informed, strength-based, and directive approach. She integrates Gottman Method techniques, particularly after crisis stabilization. Her office serves as a sanctuary where clients can express their pain and work towards personal growth.
