Kara Skevis

Kara Skevis is a therapist who works with clients to explore trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and grief and loss. She welcomes both children (ages 5 and up) and adults, providing a safe and relaxed environment to address their feelings and experiences.

Skevis earned her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Concordia University Wisconsin and completed her Master's Degree from Lewis University. She holds social work licenses in both Illinois and Indiana, reflecting her commitment to professional growth and comprehensive support for clients facing diverse challenges.

In her practice, Skevis employs a strengths-based perspective, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
