Kathy Muscari

Kathy Muscari is a Clinical Director at Kanawha Pastoral Counseling Center. Muscari works with people, couples, and groups to address challenges such as stress, trauma, illness, addiction, work difficulties, and relationship issues.

Muscari holds a Ph.D. in Human Services from Capella University, a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Psychiatric Rehabilitation from Boston University, and multiple master's degrees in Counseling and Art Education. Her expertise is further enriched by a three-year post-graduate certificate in Working with Groups from the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland.

Her therapeutic approach includes Gestalt Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Care. Clients can expect a non judgmental, healing-oriented environment that encourages mindfulness and personal growth. Muscari's sessions offer a structured path for clients to explore their challenges and develop resilience.
