Kelvin Davis

Kelvin Davis is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate who works with couples, families, and people, focusing on the African American community. Davis helps bridge the gap between this community and mental health services, addressing challenges with culturally competent care.

Davis's journey into mental health began in high school, inspired by a visiting therapist. He earned a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in counseling from the University of North Texas. Despite challenges, he completed his Master of Science in clinical mental health counseling at Texas A&M University-Commerce, supported by his family and mentor Mia Oller.

Using person centered counseling and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Davis brings empathy to his practice. His advocacy work with Counseling for Social Justice enhances his ability to serve marginalized communities. Clients can expect a supportive environment tailored to their needs.
