Kerry Prior

Kerry Prior is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who helps people reach their goals, heal, and deepen self-awareness. Prior works with anxiety and depression, trauma recovery, and relationship challenges, guiding clients to overcome self-limitations and create healthy boundaries.

With a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Vanderbilt University, Prior completed her studies with honors. Her experience includes individual and couples counseling, trauma and abuse recovery, and grief support. Prior also serves as an adjunct professor of psychology at Grand Rapids Community College and has been involved with the West Michigan Counseling Board of Directors.

Prior's therapeutic style is informed by her own life experiences, offering empathy and understanding. She uses modalities such as EMDR and explores the mind body connection. Clients can expect a warm, empathetic environment where they set the pace for their growth. Sessions are structured to provide practical tools for transformative change.
