Krista Hobson

Krista Hobson is a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alaska Anchorage and began her career as a registered nurse at Alaska Regional Hospital, working on Medical/Oncology and Cardiac units. She also served as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) and played a key role in establishing the Mat-Su Forensic Nursing Services program in 2013, providing critical support for survivors of sexual assault and strangulation.

Krista went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky, becoming an ANCC-certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2018. Recognizing the connection between physical and mental health, she completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health, also through Frontier Nursing University. She has provided mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of clinical settings and now serves patients across the lifespan at Psychology Services of Alaska.
