La Donna Harris is the President and Executive Director of Transforming Life Center. Harris works with people of all ages, focusing on challenges such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and faith-related concerns. She is particularly skilled in helping at-risk youth and their families.
Harris holds an Associate of Science in Human Services from Mt. Wachusett College, a Bachelor of Arts in Law Enforcement from Western New England University, and a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from Cambridge College. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Counseling.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Guidance Counselor, Harris employs an eclectic, client centered approach, utilizing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Clients can expect a compassionate environment where positive coping skills and self-esteem are developed.
