Laura Howell

Laura Howell, PsyD, LPC, CPCS, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and serves as a Clinical Supervisor at Wellspring Life Solutions, Inc. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) serves as the cornerstone of her approach.

She works with adults and children and has experience treating trauma, severe mental illness, anger management, families of individuals with brain injuries, depression, and anxiety.

Dr. Howell has worked in private practice, medical practices, hospitals, nursing homes, and correctional facilities and holds a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology, a Master's of Science in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Brenau University, and a Bachelor's of Science in Zoology from the University of Georgia. Her collaborative, evidence-based style focuses on identifying and modifying thought patterns to help clients develop more adaptive ways of thinking and coping.
