Linda Dench

Dr. Linda Naylor Dench, MA, PhD, LPC, CC-AASP, has over two decades of experience in the counseling field and leads Dench Counseling, Sport & Wellness Centre (DCSWC).

She integrates Sport Psychology, Expressive Arts, Jungian Psychotherapy & Dreamwork, Jungian Play Therapy, Couples & Family Counseling, Neurofeedback, Vocational Counseling, Pedagogy, and Addiction & Recovery into her practice. Her doctoral study and dissertation research at Temple University provided the cross-disciplinary foundation for this work.

She served as the Executive Director of the Family Service Agency in Pottsville, PA and served as President of the Pennsylvania Association for Play Therapy and the Lehigh Valley Coalition for Sport Ethics. Dr. Dench emphasizes wellness, defining it as the ability to balance pain and stressors with adequate intrapersonal resources, and endorses yoga, tai chi, and tai-kwon-do.
