Linda Townsend

Linda Townsend, RN, MS, CS, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been a cornerstone of Professional Counseling Service since 1979. A Registered Nurse with advanced degrees and certifications in counseling, she brought medical knowledge and therapeutic expertise to her clinical work.

Her arrival coincided with the opening of the Copperas Cove office and helped expand the practice's reach in Bell and Coryell Counties. Over decades she contributed to providing a professional and confidential setting for the psychological and emotional support of clients.

While Linda has since retired, her legacy continues to influence the practice and the comprehensive services provided to children and families in the surrounding area. The Christ-centered approach utilized by many therapists at Professional Counseling Service may reflect foundations she helped establish.
