Lior Solaimani

Lior Solaimani, MHC-LP, is a mental health counselor specializing in eating disorders, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders. She uses Family Based Treatment/Maudsley (FBT), CBT-AR for ARFID, CBT, ERP, DBT, and the Unified Treatment Model to tailor care to each client’s needs.

She has experience at two of the nation's top eating disorder treatment facilities and completed a Clinical Internship at The Renfrew Center after earning a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from the Gordon F. Derner School of Psychology at Adelphi University. She has also provided volunteer service with the NEDA Helpline.

Her practice is HAES-aligned and trauma-informed, and as a queer-identified therapist she is particularly passionate about working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Lior emphasizes collaboration, transparency, and authenticity to create a warm, non-judgmental space for healing and growth.
