Lorin Hayes

Lorin Hayes is a Practicum Counseling Intern at The Good Center. With over 18 years of counseling and coaching experience, she works with trauma, mid-life and existential crises, depression and anxiety-related issues, and empowerment. Hayes also supports military personnel, veterans, and their families, offering faith-based counseling when appropriate.

Hayes's professional journey includes serving as a Chaplain Assistant in the United States Army, where she gained experience with diverse cultures. She is a Marriage Prepare & Enrich Facilitator and a Nurturing Parent Facilitator, roles that enhance her work with couples and families. Her authorship of "Camouflaged Love: A Memoir" adds depth to her practice.

Her therapeutic style is strengths-based, focusing on individual and family systems. Hayes integrates a solution-focused approach, celebrating progress throughout the process. Clients can expect compassionate care that considers mind, body, and soul. She provides personalized support tailored to each client's needs.
