Maddy Buxton

Maddy Buxton, LAPC, NCC, MA, CTGM, CALC, is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor. She earned an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, 2023) and applies a background in improv and theater to clinical work.

As a Certified ADHD Life Coach, Maddy uses Solution-Focused Therapy alongside creative methods. She is a Certified Therapeutic Game Master and offers group, game-based sessions to support skills, engagement, and collaboration.

Her person-centered, social-constructionist approach values clients as experts in their own lives; she emphasizes narrative, humor, and a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore goals and develop practical strategies.
