Maggie Mccool

Maggie McCool, LACMH (She/They) is a Licensed Associate Counselor of Mental Health with a diverse background as a parent, educator, counselor, and advocate. Maggie works with both youth and adults, particularly those who identify across the gender and sexuality spectrum, as well as their loved ones.

Her therapeutic focus includes supporting individuals navigating neurodiversity, health or ability differences, anxiety, mood dysregulation, complex trauma, grief, dissociation, and identity exploration. Maggie is dedicated to creating a safe, affirming space where clients can build self-trust and self-love. She helps clients develop empowered responses to experiences of alienation or discrimination, acknowledging the impact of real-world systems of oppression.
