Marlene Dolinar

Marlene Dolinar is a therapist who is the founder and owner of Mending Hearts Counseling Center. She works with children and adults using play, sandtray, and expressive therapies to address life transitions, depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship difficulties.

Dolinar holds a Master of Arts degree in Counselor Education from the University of Toledo's CACREP accredited program. Her counseling journey began in 2013, leading to her becoming a Registered Play Therapist in August 2019. Her experience includes internships at Behavioral Connections of Wood County and roles in school-based and office-based therapy settings.

At Mending Hearts Counseling Center, Dolinar integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Clients can expect a safe and inviting environment where emotional, social, and psychological needs are met.
