Marlene Dolinar

Marlene Dolinar, MA, LPCC, RPT, is a Play Therapist and Psychotherapist. She is the founder and owner of Mending Hearts Counseling Center and opened the doors to her practice in July 2019.

She works with children and adults using play, sandtray, and expressive therapies and integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to address life transitions, depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship difficulties.

She holds an MA in Counselor Education from the CACREP accredited program at the University of Toledo and has experience across internships at Behavioral Connections of Wood County, school-based counseling, and office-based therapy at Harbor Behavioral Health. She provides a safe, inviting, culturally competent space for mental and behavioral health services.
