Marta Kem

Marta Kem is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who helps people and couples navigate their emotional lives. Kem works with couples to rebuild connection and trust, and offers individual therapy for anxiety and depression. Her approach combines Emotionally Focused Therapy and Accelerated Experiential Psychotherapy.

Originally from Poland, Kem immigrated to the United States in 2001. Her interest in family dynamics led her to pursue advanced training in applied counseling and family therapy. She completed post-graduate training at Denver Family Institute and earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling with an emphasis on Couples and Family Therapy from the University of Northern Colorado.

Kem’s practice goes beyond traditional talk therapy, focusing on real-time emotional awareness. She draws on insights from experts like Diana Fosha and Peter Levine. Clients can expect a safe environment for emotional exploration, fostering growth that extends beyond the therapy room.
