Michael Flores

Michael Flores is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor who helps clients live to their fullest capacity. Flores works with family systems, individual counseling, complex teen issues, and co-parenting and reunification counseling, particularly helping those resistant to therapy.

Flores holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of North Texas and a master's degree in professional counseling from Texas Wesleyan University. His career began as a behavior interventionist in alternative schools, followed by roles as a family specialist and in-home therapist for juvenile probation. In 2013, he founded Brighter Possibilities Family Counseling, where he has spent the last decade serving the community.

As a bilingual therapist fluent in English and Spanish, Flores serves clients aged 10 and older. He employs narrative exploration and marriage and family therapy techniques, guiding clients to untangle limiting beliefs and build on strengths. Clients can expect a collaborative process aimed at aligning their current situation with their desired future.
