With a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of North Texas and a master's degree in professional counseling from Texas Wesleyan University, Michael's educational background forms a solid foundation for his practice. His professional journey began as a behavior interventionist in alternative schools, followed by roles as a family specialist and in-home therapist for juvenile probation. This varied experience culminated in the founding of Brighter Possibilities Family Counseling in 2013, where Michael has spent the last decade building a team dedicated to serving the community's counseling needs.

As a bilingual therapist fluent in English and Spanish, Michael serves clients aged 10 and older. His training as a marriage and family therapist, coupled with his past presidency of the Texas Association of Marriage and Family Counselors, speaks to his commitment to ongoing professional development.
