Michelle Brown

Michelle Brown, LSWAIC, is a Master's Level Clinician who specializes in clinical social work, working with adults and youth through a multi-cultural lens. She combines social justice advocacy with trauma-informed care to inform her therapeutic work.

She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California and has worked with youth and adults in inpatient psychiatric facilities, community mental health centers, emergency departments, and the correctional system. She integrates psychoeducation and her professional experiences to raise awareness about social justice issues, liberation from oppression, and trauma-informed care.

Michelle cultivates a safe, empowering environment where clients can explore intersecting identities and personal narratives, and she fosters collaborative therapeutic partnerships that encourage openness and self-discovery. Her areas of expertise include trauma, life transitions, anxiety, and depression, and she tailors her approach with a commitment to multi-cultural competence and advocating for human rights regardless of gender, color, or beliefs.
