About
Empowering clients to overcome life's challenges through a warm and accepting therapeutic approach, Natalia German brings a diverse set of skills to her practice as a Registered Clinical Mental Health Counselor Intern. With a foundation built on compassion and a drive to help others, Natalia has cultivated a unique blend of expertise that makes her particularly adept at guiding individuals through some of life's most difficult experiences.
Natalia's journey in mental health began with her roles as a student intern in Collier County schools and as a victim's advocate/counselor with Project HELP. These experiences have given her invaluable insights into the complexities of grief, victimization, depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and relational distress. Her ability to connect with clients across the lifespan allows her to provide tailored support to adults, adolescents, and children alike.
At the core of Natalia's practice is her belief in the power of a safe, accepting, and warm therapeutic environment. She understands that the key to effective therapy lies in building strong relationships with clients and their loved ones, creating a space where they can express themselves freely and develop the tools necessary to overcome life's challenges. This person-centered approach allows Natalia to meet each client where they are, fostering a journey of self-discovery and growth.
Natalia's therapeutic toolkit is both comprehensive and adaptable. Fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), she incorporates this powerful technique alongside other evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Insight Oriented therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. This eclectic approach allows her to tailor her methods to each client's unique needs and goals.
With a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and a bachelor's degree from Capella University, Natalia brings a strong academic foundation to her practice. She is currently working towards her Clinical Licensure, demonstrating her commitment to ongoing professional development and excellence in the field.
