Natalie Buchwald, LMHC, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, is the founder and clinical director of Manhattan Mental Health Counseling. She specializes in eating disorders, mood disorders, and culture-based identity conflicts and uses a therapeutic methodology that is experiential and pragmatic with emphasis on the mind-body relationship.

She has graduated from the Center of Anorexia and Bulimia in New York City, completed advanced training from the Hakomi Institute, and held a fellowship at the Karen Horney Institute. Natalie works with individuals and couples and has presented "Spirituality and Eating Disorders" at the National Eating Disorder Conference.

Natalie founded the practice to increase access to competent psychotherapists who accept health insurance or moderate fees and vets therapists licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health. Her work focuses on fostering deep connections and supporting clients’ vitality through grounded, evidence-informed care.
