With a passion for helping families navigate life's challenges, Dr. Nathalie Bello brings over two decades of experience to her practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Her journey in the field of mental health began in the classroom, where she worked as a preschool teacher and elementary substitute, igniting her desire to make a lasting impact on children and families.
Dr. Bello's expertise spans a wide range of areas, including depression, stress management, co-parenting, anger management, communication problems, grief, self-esteem issues, and educational planning. Her work with the award-winning SUPERB anti-bullying program in Broward County schools showcases her commitment to creating safer, more supportive environments for youth. As the program's Executive Director from 2004 to 2010, she played a crucial role in conducting research, publishing articles, and shaping anti-bullying policies.
Educated at the University of Florida and Nova Southeastern University, Dr. Bello's academic achievements are as impressive as her professional ones. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Minor in Secondary Education, followed by a Master of Science and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Marriage and Family Therapy. Her dedication to education extends beyond her own studies; she has served as an Adjunct Professor and has supervised and trained over 50 marriage and family therapy Master's students.
Dr. Bello's diverse professional background includes roles such as Parent-Child Behavioral Modifier at the University of Florida's Shands Hospital and therapist for the Broward County Department of Juvenile Justice. In 2009, she founded the Therapeutic Solutions Counseling Center in South Florida, demonstrating her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to expanding access to quality mental health care.
As a Florida Qualified Supervisor for Registered Marriage and Family Therapy Interns and Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns, Dr. Bello continues to shape the next generation of therapists. Her involvement in professional organizations, including her role as Vice President of the Broward Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, underscores her dedication to advancing the field. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Bello is able to serve a diverse clientele, ensuring that language is not a barrier to receiving quality care.
