Q Porschatis

Q Porschatis, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a decade of experience in the mental health field. She began in 2013 after graduating from the University of Utah with Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Gender Studies, and she applies an intersectional lens to her clinical work.

She specializes in trauma, mood disorders, grief, and relationship conflict, with a focus on women's rights, LGBTQ+ issues, trauma, and intersectional identities. She completed a competitive internship at the University of Utah Counseling Center and has two years of experience in substance abuse, and she offers services at Salty Counseling.

Her approach is grounded in empathy and creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where treatment is tailored to each client's needs. She supports clients with anxiety and stress management, trauma work, questioning sexuality, religious trauma and faith transitions, life transitions, grief counseling, burnout, and relationship topics.
