Rachel Waddell

Rachel Waddell is a certified psychiatric and family nurse practitioner with over 20 years of healthcare experience. She earned her BSN in 2004 and MSN in 2010 from South Dakota State University, and completed her PMHNP certification in 2022. Her work spans cardiology, correctional health, behavioral health, and private practice. She specializes in the treatment of severe and persistent mental illness, substance use disorders (MAT certified), mood and personality disorders, PTSD, and ADHD. Ms. Waddell serves on the board of the Nurse Practitioner Association of South Dakota and was recognized as NP Advocate of the Year in 2016.
