Rebecca Hurd

Rebecca Hurd, APCC, Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from California State University, Long Beach and a Master's degree in Educational & Clinical Counseling from Azusa Pacific University.

Since 2020, Rebecca has been actively practicing therapy across community mental health, private practice, and the educational/school setting, developing expertise working with students in special education. She contributes to assessments and the development of individualized education plans and has served underserved populations in the Antelope Valley.

Supervised by Katie Hernandez-Trejo, LMFT 126619, Rebecca's work is grounded in mental health theories and evidence-based practices and she maintains a commitment to ongoing professional development. She also participates in church outreach and advocacy aimed at reducing stigma and promoting mental wellness.
