Renee Gusman

Renee Gusman, M.S., L.P.C., is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over three decades of experience in the counseling profession. She uses Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitizing and Reprocessing) therapy to address a range of concerns.

She maintains a private practice in Mid-City New Orleans. She began as a school counselor, later transitioned to a clinician in a mental health agency, and established her own practice six years ago.

Renee offers individual, couple, and family therapy for adults and children, addressing depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and career and educational concerns. Her client-centered, holistic approach combines evidence-based techniques to support growth and healing.
