Rocio Villalobos

Rocio Villalobos is a Clinical Supervisor at Discovery Family Services. With nearly two decades in human and social services, Villalobos works with clients facing depression, anxiety, stress, and trauma. She also guides aspiring mental health professionals.

Villalobos began her journey with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from California State University of Long Beach in 2003. She furthered her education with a Master of Social Work from the same institution in 2010. Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker since 2017, she mentors Associate Clinical Social Workers and Associate Marriage and Family Therapists.

Her therapeutic approach is holistic and culturally sensitive, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy. Villalobos emphasizes the importance of understanding the whole person, including spiritual dimensions when relevant. Clients can expect a thoughtful and adaptable approach to their needs.
