Sarah Babyak

Sarah Babyak is a Therapist and Mental Health Liaison at Alta Care Group. She works with children and teens, focusing on mental health support and education in Mahoning County. Babyak provides individual and group therapy, addressing diverse needs in her young clients.

Babyak began her career in mental health with a Masters in Community Counseling from Youngstown State University. Her early experience as a residential therapist equipped her with skills in individual, group, and family therapy. Since 2013, she has been an integral part of Alta Care Group, contributing to their mission of supporting youth mental health.

At Ursuline High School, Babyak offers weekly consultations and counseling, creating a safe space for students. Her work includes community education and screenings for depression and suicide awareness. As part of the Linkages Program, she connects youth with essential services. Her structured approach helps young people develop effective coping strategies.
