Shawn Edgington

Shawn Edgington, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist, has three decades of experience in the mental health field and holds a Bachelor's degree and a Ph.D. in Psychology from Brigham Young University.

He specializes in depression, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, abuse recovery, and various addictions, with a particular focus on sexual addictions, and also helps with phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder, at-risk teenagers, and parenting strategies.

He believes the therapeutic relationship is the critical factor in the success of therapy and does not treat individuals 14 years old or younger, couples, or individuals diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. As a father of seven and a husband of 17 years, he brings practical insight into healthy relationships and a collaborative, supportive approach to care.
