Shelby Banach

Shelby Banach, LCSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, practices from a strengths-based perspective to help clients uncover parts of themselves that have been lost to life’s pressures. She uses DBT skill building, addressing three major areas: emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal skills, combining processing and skill development to increase stability and relief.

She works with a diverse clientele and treats anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+ issues, faith crises, mood disorders, relationship problems, loneliness, disconnection, and substance use problems. Shelby provides individual and couples therapy and adapts her work to each client’s needs.

Rooted in transparency and mutual vulnerability, Shelby aims to make aspects of her clients’ present lives more manageable and fulfilling, improving interpersonal relationships and everyday functioning.
