Silvana Loka

Silvana Loka, PhD, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, brings 20 years of diverse experience and holds a doctorate in psychological counseling. Her training spans European and American traditions and informs a holistic clinical practice.

She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges and works with teenagers, adults, and couples. Dr. Loka uses DBT, CBT, mindfulness, and relational psychodynamic approaches and practices as a trauma-informed counselor to help clients examine how past patterns shape the present.

Relocated from Europe in 2019, she has served as Head of Department of Psychology and Dean of Students and now works both online and in-person in Chicago, Philadelphia, and other states. She incorporates mindfulness and meditation into her work to support clients’ exploration of identity and purpose.
