Stephanie Majetich

Stephanie Majetich, LCSW, Registered Play Therapist, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over nine years of experience. She creates safe, nurturing spaces using play therapy techniques to help children, adolescents, and teens express themselves and begin healing.

She specializes in helping young clients through healing from trauma and treats anxiety and depression while focusing on building self-esteem through age-appropriate interventions. At The Counseling Nook, Stephanie also serves on the West Virginia Executive Board for Play Therapy and helped establish a social-emotional learning curriculum in Jackson County Schools. Her approach is tailored to each child’s unique needs, emphasizing sensitivity, skill, and emotional growth.
