Susan Shackelford

Dr. Susan L. Shackelford is a psychologist and the founder of Psychology & Counseling Associates, P.A., serving the Northwest Arkansas region. Shackelford works with anxiety, depression, grief, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and adjustment disorders. She also helps couples and student athletes.

Shackelford completed her undergraduate studies at Trinity University in San Antonio, majoring in Psychology. She earned her doctorate in Psychology from Texas A&M University in 1991. Her academic career includes a position as Assistant Professor at LSU and additional clinical training at the University of Tulsa. Her internship at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans enriched her experience with diverse patient populations.
