Yasmin Henderson

Yasmin Henderson, Clinical Supervisor & Art Therapist, is the owner and clinical supervisor at Creative Counseling and Studio, specializing in trauma-informed care for clients across the lifespan. She combines art therapy with traditional therapeutic techniques to help clients explore and process experiences through expressive arts.

She founded Creative Counseling and Studio in 2019 and grew from her first client in November 2019 to a practice with multiple therapists by October 2020, and was awarded $4000 in an investor pitch competition with Omaha's I Be Black Girl. Yasmin also developed a professional business coaching program specifically tailored to the needs of mental health professionals, covering practice setup, client acquisition, and running an ethically sound business.

As a supervisor and coach, she focuses on inclusivity and practitioner development; Creative Counseling and Studio proudly advertises itself as BIPOC, Diverse Ability, Generationally, LGBTQIA2+, and Religiosity-INCLUSIVE, and Yasmin supports clinicians and clients with trauma-informed, creative care.
