Zully Schultz

With a systemic perspective and collaborative approach, Zully Schultz, MS, LMFT, creates a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to express themselves and explore their needs effectively. As a co-founder and co-owner of Reconnecting Relationships Therapy (RRT) since 2015, Zully brings a wealth of experience to her practice, specializing in helping individuals and couples navigate relationship challenges, marital troubles, and personal growth.

Zully's therapeutic approach combines kindness and healthy validation with accountability and constructive self-reflection. She believes that establishing a trusting client-therapist relationship is essential for making real progress. Her objective is to help clients feel heard and supported as they work towards understanding their problems and making positive changes in their lives.

A graduate of Texas Wesleyan University with a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Zully completed internships at The Parenting Center and The Glick House in Fort Worth in 2014. Her experience includes working with and assessing clients dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, marital troubles, boundary difficulties, and conflict resolution struggles. Zully employs various therapeutic modalities, including Psychodynamic, Structural, CBT, Gottman Interventions, Contextual Theory, and Family Systems approaches.

Beyond her clinical work, Zully has demonstrated leadership in her field by volunteering as Vice-President of the FWAAFMT from 2022-2023. Her personal life experience, including a 25-year marriage and raising two daughters, adds depth to her understanding of long-term relationships and family dynamics.

Zully's areas of expertise encompass a wide range of issues, including anxiety, trauma recovery, depression, stress management, couples conflict, life transitions, boundary work, low self-esteem, teen issues, marital troubles, grief and loss, relationship issues, parent-teen relationships, and breakups. Her comprehensive approach and diverse skill set make her well-equipped to help clients address complex personal and relational challenges.
