Abi Tesfaye

Abi Tesfaye, LPC Associate, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate at Just Mind counseling practice. She is passionate about providing healing spaces for individuals who have been marginalized due to aspects of their identity such as race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation and has experience working with domestic violence, sexual abuse, and complex trauma.

She works with adults and teens on depression, anxiety, life changes, spiritual transitions and deconstruction, first and second generation cultural issues, relationship issues, and grief, and uses narrative therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and attachment theory to support change.

Abi emphasizes genuine acceptance, mutual trust, and compassionate accountability in therapy and aims to help clients deconstruct harmful narratives and show up authentically. She practices under the supervision of Dr. Maria Haiyasoso, PhD, LPC-S, RPT, NCC.
