Alex Ginsberg

Alex Ginsberg, Resident In Counseling, holds a Masters in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. She specializes in Drama Therapy and integrates talk therapy, creative arts, and coaching with mindfulness and meditation.

She has over a decade of experience working with adults, youth, and families on trauma, addiction, and life-altering changes. She presented at conferences in New York City, San Francisco, and Portland and implemented a drama therapy program in 16 classrooms at the Weinstein JCC Preschool.

Alex partners with the Visual Arts Center of Richmond, SPARC, United Methodist Family Services (UMFS), and New YCAPP, Inc. to deliver creative arts therapy programs for youth. She focuses on helping adults heal from broken relationships and emotional hurt and supports youth in building interpersonal skills and stress management in a client-centered way.
