Alicia Crum

Alicia Crum, LPC-S, NCC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and owner of Parakeleo' Counseling specializing in Child & Adolescent Services. She is a National Certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and practices Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

She brings nearly two decades of diverse experience and has worked across nursing homes, state correctional facilities, and inpatient psychiatric units, and she has taught college courses in the human services field. Alicia holds an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a BS in Psychology.

Parakeleo' Counseling—named for the Greek phrase 'to come alongside, to encourage, strengthen, and teach'—offers individual, family, and group therapy, support groups, assessments, parent education, and 1:1 therapeutic mentoring. Alicia focuses on ADHD, defiant behavior, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, childhood trauma, and academic underachievement while working to reduce stigma around youth mental health.
