Amy Ference

Amy Ference, LAC, is a Licensed Associate Counselor who specializes in nature-based counseling and draws on Gestalt theory and somatic experiencing. She also integrates play therapy and adventure therapy techniques into her clinical work.

She has a background in wilderness therapy and works with individuals and groups in remote settings as well as in office-based care. She is a member of the Therapeutic Adventure Professionals Group (TAPG) and the Association for Specialists in Group Work (ASGW).

Amy volunteers as an Arkansas Master Naturalist and offers paddleboarding courses through the Arkansas Canoe Club, reflecting her practical experience with outdoor programs. Her approach creates a safe, supportive environment tailored to individuals of all ages to deepen self-awareness and support personal growth through connection to nature.
