Amy Gawrych

Dr. Amy Gawrych is a licensed clinical psychologist who is the owner of Peace of Mind Psychological Services. She works with clients facing depression, mood disorders, anxiety, and relational conflicts. Gawrych also guides people in health and wellness, focusing on stress reduction and positive lifestyle changes.

Gawrych earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology with minors in Disability Studies and Community Health, followed by her Master of Science and Doctor of Psychology from Hofstra University in New York. She holds a provisional certification in School Psychology, enhancing her work with diverse populations.

In her practice, Gawrych employs Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness techniques. Clients experience a warm, non judgmental environment where they can explore challenges and develop coping strategies. Her approach is designed to help clients gain control and improve their quality of life.
