Amy Waters, LPC-S, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor with over a decade of experience. She earned a BA in Psychology and Practical Theology from Howard Payne University and an MA in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
She specializes in chronic pain and autoimmune disorders, anxiety/OCD, depression, addiction, and interpersonal relationships, and also addresses family of origin issues, forgiveness, church hurt, ministry/caregiver burnout, identity formation, and stress management. She is a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider and is trained in DBT, CBT, and Family Systems Therapy.
Amy believes that seeking counsel is both wise and brave and that all individuals possess intrinsic value. Her approach is individualized and holistic, attending to clients’ mind, body, and soul to support coping and relational well-being.
