Andres Duran

Andres Duran, M.A. LPCC, is a Licensed Professional Clinical Mental Health Counselor who treats post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and relationship issues. He centers his work on evidence-based techniques and is deeply interested in the neuroscience of how the brain reshapes and heals itself.

He is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), completed in 2021, completed foundational training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in 2019, and uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). He holds an MA in Counseling (2013) from the University of New Mexico and has a career spanning over a decade working with groups, families, couples, and individuals.

Andres believes in the power of human connection and collaboration, using his natural curiosity to tailor tools and strategies alongside clients. He aims to bring moments of joy and humor into his clients' lives when appropriate while providing practical, evidence-informed care.
