Andrew Counts is a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor who helps people and couples navigate life's challenges through faith-based counseling and evidence-based interventions. With over three decades of experience, he works with anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship difficulties.
Counts began his counseling journey in 1984, gaining experience in church-sponsored centers, private practice, cancer treatment centers, inpatient psychiatric facilities, and intensive outpatient programs. He holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Marshall University.
Counts integrates Christian principles with therapeutic techniques, specializing in the Gottman Method for couples therapy. He also offers workshops as a Gottman Seven Principles Program Educator and Bringing Baby Home Educator. Clients can expect a structured approach that combines faith with proven strategies for personal and relational growth.
