Ashley McDonald is a National Certified Counselor working under the clinical supervision of Matt Dooley and the clinical direction of Meg McLeroy. McDonald works with children, adolescents, and adults facing life transitions, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
McDonald holds a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from The University of the West Indies in Jamaica. Her experience as a Behavioral Therapist for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder enhances her empathetic and culturally competent practice.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Family Systems, and Play Therapy. Clients can expect a client centered, strengths-based environment where they feel heard and valued.
