Aura LaBarre

Aura LaBarre, MA, LCMHC, NCC, is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor at Bull City Psychotherapy. She uses person-centered, restorative modalities and evidence-based practices including EMDR and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address recent and generational trauma, betrayal trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, chronic health concerns, and identity journeys.

She works with adolescents, adults, and elders and integrates somatic and solution-focused strategies into individualized treatment. She is a trainee of The Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists (APSATS) and has training in restorative practices with Restorative Practices International (RPI).

Her approach is trauma-informed, informed by ecology and systems thinking, and grounded in anti-racist, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and culturally inclusive practice. Aura emphasizes collaboration, authenticity, and compassion to support post-traumatic growth and healing.
