Cali Babey

Cali Babey, PsyD, post-doctoral fellow at Centered Therapy Chicago, works with adults and young adults. She specializes in working with LGBTQIA+ identified individuals and their loved ones, supporting identity development, life transitions, and concerns such as stress, depression, anxiety, complex trauma, and relationship issues.

She completed her doctorate in clinical psychology at Roosevelt University and has training in inpatient hospitals and private practices, including Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital and Hartgrove Behavioral Health Hospital. She has over a decade of dedicated advocacy and involvement with Center on Halsted and True Colors Inc.

Her relational, feminist, and trauma-informed approach integrating somatic, mind-body, and mindfulness-based interventions is central to her work. Attuned to the impacts of racism, sexism, oppression, and discrimination, she offers a collaborative, strength-based style that emphasizes self-acceptance and practical coping skills.
