Candace Lassiter

Candace Lassiter is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Director of Clinical Training at Genesis Counseling Center in Virginia. Lassiter works with a diverse range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, relational issues, and stress management. She also provides couples therapy and pre-marital counseling.

Lassiter completed her academic journey with a Master's and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Regent University, equipping her with a foundation in psychological theory and practice. Her role as Director of Clinical Training allows her to shape the skills of future mental health professionals.

Lassiter's therapeutic approach combines interpersonal relational psychodynamic therapy with cognitive behavioral and acceptance commitment techniques. Clients can expect a personalized and insightful experience, supported by her ADOS certification for Autism Spectrum Disorder evaluations.
