Carla Brun

Carla Brun is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who helps Latines and children of immigrants navigate mental health challenges. Brun works with anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and prenatal/postpartum mental health, creating a safe space for cultural nuances.

Brun holds a master's degree in clinical social work from New York University and a bachelor's degree in psychology from American University. She completed postgraduate psychotherapy training at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies and specialized perinatal mental health training from Postpartum Support International.

Employing mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and psychodynamic therapy, Brun tailors her approach to individual needs. Her bilingual Spanish/English sessions enhance communication for clients navigating cultural identities.
