Carrie Christensen

Carrie Christensen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 19 years of private practice experience. Christensen works with clients on issues including chronic illness, grief and loss, depression and anxiety, and gender-related concerns.

Christensen began her academic journey at Columbia University School of Social Work. She furthered her expertise with post-graduate training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health. Her supervisory roles at New York Presbyterian Hospital and Weill Cornell Medical College highlight her extensive experience.

Influenced by Freudian thought, Attachment Theory, and Relational Theory, Christensen offers an eclectic approach tailored to individual needs.
