Chad Corbley, PhD, is a licensed psychologist who earned his M.A. and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from The Ohio State University and obtained Ohio licensure as a psychologist in 2010. He is the owner of City Counseling: A Home for Growth and specializes in trauma and LGBTQ concerns in private practice. His approach is grounded in humanistic and interpersonal theories and integrates cognitive, behavioral, existential, and somatic techniques such as grounding and mindfulness. He has taught psychology at OSU and Columbus State Community College and volunteers with Men Healing and Taking Back Ourselves, delivering trainings to SARNCO on working with male survivors; he emphasizes nonjudgmental exploration of clients’ experiences and values therapists’ ongoing self-work to support client growth.
