Chad Corbley is a licensed psychologist who works with trauma recovery and LGBTQ+ advocacy. He helps clients create a "brave space" for growth, offering a holistic approach to mental health that encourages risk-taking and evolution.

Corbley's academic journey began at The Ohio State University, where he earned his M.A. and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology in 2008. He completed a pre-doctoral internship at UNC-Charlotte's Counseling Center and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Ohio University. Licensed in Ohio since 2010, he has focused on private practice.

Utilizing humanistic and interpersonal theories, Corbley employs cognitive, behavioral, and existential approaches. His practice incorporates somatic work, starting with grounding techniques and advancing to mindfulness-based practices. Clients can expect a non judgmental exploration of emotions and relationships. His practice, City Counseling, reflects his philosophy of mutual growth and healing.
